How do you take your coffee? With volcanoes or hot springs, rain forest or cloud forest, on the beach or by the lake? Well, on this trip you get to enjoy them all.
With the coffee farmers of San Ramon we experience the coffee process from picking the beans right through to tasting the coffee of the region. Throughout the process we can chat to the farmers and other representatives of the cooperatives who will be able to share with us the benefits that producing Fairtrade coffee have brought to their community. We also enjoy the historic and cultural centre at Granada and crossing the border south into Costa Rica to visit sugar and pineapple farmers we continue to enjoy the stunning volcanic scenery and the birds, butterflies and wildlife thriving in the many National Parks.
Exploring these two fascinating and beautiful countries, meeting the farmers who grow the Fairtrade coffee, sugar, and pineapples, this tour is a heady mix of stunning scenery, vibrant culture, lively politics, and Fairtrade. And all bathed in the aroma of that wonderful coffee!
