Colourful orchards, sandy beaches and vibrant towns provide a stunning backdrop to our journey around Cuba, but it is the rare opportunity to learn about and enjoy this intriguing country that attracts people to this tour. The striking friendliness of the people of Cuba helps us to see first-hand how fair trade works in a unique political setting and impacts on the lives of ordinary people.
We visit citrus farmers in Ciego de Avila and see how Fairtrade premiums benefit the local co-operatives. Visits to sites commemorating Cuba's revolution give an insight into Cuba's complex social history and there'll be plenty of opportunity to enjoy Cuba's lively artistic and musical scene.
Our partner Cubania Travel, is a small independent travel agency committed to operating their business and tours in a way that is sympathetic to the local society, economy, culture and environment. Cuba is their passion and their holidays are designed to give travellers a truly Cuban experience with special touches that make them even more memorable.
