Kenya is a truly beautiful country. This tour combines unique wildlife and stunning scenery with visits to fair trade tea and crafts producers.

We start with the hustle and bustle of Nairobi and its surrounding rural towns and communities. Heading north we then travel into the tea growing regions before heading south west down into the Rift Valley on our way to Mara for the opportunity for some spectacular animal sightings! Leaving the tourist trail once again we visit Kisii to see the soapstone carvers before heading back east to Lake Nakuru and its Flamigoes and Rhinos. Our trip ends in Mombasa on the east coast of Kenya with Bombolulu one of Traidcraft's craft producing partner organisations.

Our tour is organised and led by People to People Tourism Kenya, a sister organization to Crafts of Africa Cultural Gallery - a member of the International Federation for Alternative Trade (IFAT). This tour was jointly developed to provide people with an insight into the beauty and reality of life in Kenya and the role of Fair Trade as a means for improving the lives of poor people.
