This tour is specifically designed for teachers and those working in education. We will see fair trade in action and with like minded travellers we will encourage you to discuss and share ideas of how fair trade can be taught and promoted in schools in the UK.

We have developed our popular tour to Peru with an emphasis on local education and you will have the opportunity to visit schools and educational projects but we will also enjoy the usual visits to
craft producers and coffee farmers, stay with their families, experience life in the Andes and at the same time enjoy some of the best sites of Peru.

A rich itinerary that explores the diverse culture and natural beauty of Peru. From the capital Lima, we travel up into the Andes and visit coffee farmers in the cloud forest who supply Cafédirect and ceramic potters in the towns and villages around Cusco before taking the Orient Express train south through the Andes to Lake Titicaca. On Taquile Island we stay in the homes of Minka craft producers and at Juliaca we see Alpaca fleece being spun and knitted into an array of beautiful garments.
